[ in the early waking morning of Christmas Day, Saori will have delivered onto her doorstep a very large box, wrapped in a dark, velvety blue wrapping paper and a silver bow. Attached to it is a card that easily reads, in fine lettering, written by some sort of calligraphy pen.

I was once told that giving someone 'just books' or 'giftcards' as a gift was lazy, so I sincerely hope this sort of gift is acceptable.

In the box is, honestly, a set of books. One looks old and worn, and inside tells a tale of a family living in the woods in old Edo, Japan, and their many dealings with different spirits and monsters that make their home in the mountains and hills alongside them. The other is more modern, and is more informational; different chapters on types of tea and the proper preparation for each type and ceremonies that go with them.

...There's also a little ignition fob with a key on it. Pressing it will turn on and draw her attention to an electric scooter now parked wherever she's been living, likewise with a matching silver bow on it. ]
